Thursday, October 18, 2018, the Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) ITB collaborated with PT Research Center of Energy (RCE) based in Jalan Batununggal Mulia I No. 2a, Bandung.
The Cooperation Agreement between FTI ITB and PT PRE was marked by the Signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) held at the FTI Meeting Room, Benny Subianto Building (Labtek V), Jalan Ganesa 10 Bandung.
The MoA was signed by the Director of PT Research Center of Energy, in this case represented by Ir. Herman Y. Sutarto, Ph.D., and Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology ITB, Prof. Deddy Kurniadi, Dr.Eng.
This signing was also witnessed by Prof. Dr.-Ing.Ir. Yul Yunazwin, M.Sc. DIC., Chair of the Instrumentation and Control Expertise Group. Iwan Prasetiyo, ST., MT., Ph.D., Coordinator of Research and Service to the FTI Society, Endra Joelianto, Ph.D., Dr.Ir. Edi Leksaono, M.Eng., Lecturer Staff of Instrumentation and Control Expertise Group, Brian Yuliarto, ST., M.Eng., Ph.D., Chair of the Bachelor of Engineering Physics Study Program. Meanwhile, from the PT Research Center of Energy, among others, Ir. Priyadi Joko P., President Commissioner of PT Research Center of Energy, Dr. Milton S. Pakpahan, Commissioner of the PT Research Center of Energy, and other invited guests.
This Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) is a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which was signed on September 4, 2017 by Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Riyanto Trilaksono as Deputy Chancellor for Research, Innovation and Partnership – ITB and by Ir. Herman Y. Sutarto, Ph.D. as Managing Director of PT Research Center of Energy.
Each party agreed to put in place research cooperation in the field of Intelligent Infrastructure, which in this collaboration will focus on the field of instrumentation and control which includes applied in the field of Intelligent Infrastructure for Transportation System and Autonomous Drilling System (ADS). Phasing in cooperation in the field of ITS includes: (1) Design and Evaluation of the performance of Area Traffic Control Systems in an area of traffic in a city in Indonesia; (2) Development of Macroscopic Fundamental Diagrams (MFD) as a measure of smooth traffic performance. Whereas phases in the field of ADS will include: (1). Development of instrumentation systems for automated drilling system; (2). Development of server instrumentation to improve drilling workflow and data exchange for its application to big data technology.
After the MoA signing process is complete, the event continued with the submission of souvenirs and continued with coffee breaks for approximately 15 minutes.
The next program was followed by a Mini-Workshop session which was accompanied by a presentation by the speaker. Priyadi Joko P. (President Commissioner of PT Energy Research Center) on the topic of Investment Engineering and Dr. Milton S. Pakpahan (Commissioner of PT Energy Research Center) on the topic of Energy Regulation in Indonesia: Barriers and Opportunities.
The friendly and lunch program at the end of the event was the end of the ITB Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) signing with PT Research Center of Energy (RCE).
